Pipes of REHAU RAUTITAN system made of linked polyethylene

REHAU RAUTITAN pipes are made from cross-linked polyethylene. The properties of this material are improved by means of its cross-link. REHAU RAUTITAN pipes accord the flammability class B2 (normal inflammable).

The main advantages of REHAU RAUTITAN pipes:

  • Corrosion resistance - REHAU RAUTITAN pipes are characterized by resistance to surface corrosion and they do not crack under stress;
  • No incrustations - the material PE-X (cross-linked polyethylene), used for manufacture of REHAU RAUTITAN pipes, inhibit to incrustation;
  • Low sound conductivity - cross-linked polyethylene is characterized best noise absorbing qualities than metal;
  • Shape memory - after mechanical deformation a pipe recovers its shape when heated to +130 °C;
  • Resistance to high temperature and pressure - the pipes can withstand continuous operating temperatures up to +70 °C and constant operating pressure of 10 bar (see. technical information);
  • Abrasion resistance - you can install REHAU RAUTITAN pipes even in rocky ground without sand filling;
  • High impact resistance including at low temperatures - REHAU RAUTITAN pipes are installed at temperatures down to -10 °C;
  • Low thermal conductivity - REHAU RAUTITAN pipes provide hot water supply with minimum heat loss;
  • Toxicological and physiological safety, in particular microorganisms do not breed on the surfaces of the pipes, so that likelihood of infection Legionella and other microbes reduces.

Also the group of products includes pipe clip-on support channels which reduce temperature extension of pipe, increase distance between the fastening collars to 2 meters and prevent sagging of the pipes.

Rehau RAUTITAN his pipes are made of cross-linked polyethylene and are designed for hot and cold water systems. The pipes have an oxygen barrier layer in accordance with DIN 4726, they are painted in silver color. Flammable class B2. The pipe is painted in silver color.

Thermal expansion coefficient by using pipe clip-on support channel is 0.04 mm/(m·K). Thermal conductivity of pipe is 0.35 W/(m·K). Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar and the temperature is +90 °C. The pipes can withstand temperatures up to +110 °C for a short time.

The pipe is supplied in sections of 6 m, size of the pipe is 32x4,4 mm.
