REHAU RAUTITAN pipes are made from cross-linked polyethylene. The properties of this material are improved by means of its cross-link. REHAU RAUTITAN pipes accord the flammability class B2 (normal inflammable).

The main advantages of REHAU RAUTITAN pipes:

  • Corrosion resistance - REHAU RAUTITAN pipes are characterized by resistance to surface corrosion and they do not crack under stress;
  • No incrustations - the material PE-X (cross-linked polyethylene), used for manufacture of REHAU RAUTITAN pipes, inhibit to incrustation;
  • Low sound conductivity - cross-linked polyethylene is characterized best noise absorbing qualities than metal;
  • Shape memory - after mechanical deformation a pipe recovers its shape when heated to +130 °C;
  • Resistance to high temperature and pressure - the pipes can withstand continuous operating temperatures up to +70 °C and constant operating pressure of 10 bar (see. technical information);
  • Abrasion resistance - you can install REHAU RAUTITAN pipes even in rocky ground without sand filling;
  • High impact resistance including at low temperatures - REHAU RAUTITAN pipes are installed at temperatures down to -10 °C;
  • Low thermal conductivity - REHAU RAUTITAN pipes provide hot water supply with minimum heat loss;
  • Toxicological and physiological safety, in particular microorganisms do not breed on the surfaces of the pipes, so that likelihood of infection Legionella and other microbes reduces.

Also the group of products includes pipe clip-on support channels which reduce temperature extension of pipe, increase distance between the fastening collars to 2 meters and prevent sagging of the pipes.

Universal pipe Rehau RAUTITAN stabil is intended for plumbing and heating systems, it is made of cross-linked polyethylene according to DIN 16892, DIN EN 573-3, DVGW W542. Flammable class B2.

The pipe has eccentric extruded insulation made of polyethylene foam which is equipped with a waterproof polyethylene membrane. The insulation is not deformed, it is resistant to aging.

Thermal conductivity of pipe in the insulation is 0.040 W/(m×K). Insulation is painted in silver color.

Working pressure of pipe is 10 bar, operating temperature of water supply systems is +70 °C and operating temperature of heating systems up to +95 °C. The pipe can withstand temperatures up to +100 °C.

Rehau RAUTITAN stabil pipe has a high impact resistance including at low temperatures, it is protected from condensation and heat emission, it is resistant to aging and deformation, it does not emit harmful substances.

Size is 25 х 3,7 mm, insulation thickness is 13 mm. The pipe is supplied in rolls.
