The Fachmann VM 110x450 roof drain without heating is used to drain precipitation into the inner drain of a flat unused roof with any type of waterproofing. It is made of a frost-resistant durable polymer, withstands heavy mechanical loads, is resistant to atmospheric factors, ultraviolet radiation, has a wide temperature range from -50 °C to +90 °C, its elements are not subject to corrosion, service life is more than 50 years.

The Fachmann VM 110450 roof drain includes the following configuration:

• Housing with vertical outlet 450 mm long, mounting diameter 110 mm.
• Polypropylene leaf catcher to protect the drain from branches, leaves, and various debris. It can also be used as a drainage ring if it is turned over during installation.
• Metal clamping flange, stainless steel wing nuts, necessary for fixing the waterproofing carpet.
• A plug is used if the downpipe is not connected immediately.

The roof drain with a crimping flange VM 110x450 is installed in places with a local decrease of 20-30 mm on a heated reinforcement layer made of bitumen-polymer material. To attach to the base of the roof, 8 holes with a diameter of 5 mm are provided on the funnel skirt. The flange made of metal alloy must be installed after installation of the waterproofing carpet, its reliable fixation is provided with the help of wing nuts. The leaf catcher is inserted into special lugs located on the surface of the flange.

The Fachmann roof drain with VMO 110x450 heating is used to drain precipitation and melt water from an unused flat roof of buildings and structures through an internal drainage system. It has built-in heating, is equipped with a polypropylene leaf trap and a metal flange. It is made of a polymer material characterized by high strength, resistance to mechanical and atmospheric influences, and a wide operating temperature range from -50 °C to +90 °C.

Equipment

The roof drain consists of the following parts:

• Housing with a vertical outlet pipe 450 mm long and 110 mm in diameter.
• A pressure-resistant corrosion-resistant flange with a wide clamping area (45 mm) and wing nuts (6 pieces) for fixing waterproofing.
• Self-regulating heating cable with locking rim, voltage 220 V, power 30 W, max. temperature 65 °C. The heating range at the water collection point is from +5°C to -7°C.
• A leaf separator to prevent foreign objects and various debris from entering the storm drain.
• The cover is a plug to protect the storm drain during the installation of roofing works.

The heated Fachmann roof drain with a crimping flange VMO 110x450 can be used in conjunction with a membrane or polymer bitumen hydro-vapor barrier. After fixing the housing in the supporting structure, a waterproofing material is fused or glued onto it. Next, its layer is clamped with a flange using wing nuts. A bell-shaped sewer pipe made of any material is connected to the outlet pipe (an additional junction is required for cast iron or steel).

The connection to the network of the Fachmann VMO 110x450 roof drain is carried out using a waterproofing coupling or a soldering box. To save electricity and automate the process, power can be connected via a thermostat or other automation systems that will turn on heating in the temperature range from -5 to +5 ° C when heating frozen water at its collection point is advisable.

The roof drain material withstands high mechanical loads, is resistant to ultraviolet light, aggressive environments, and its coefficient of thermal expansion practically coincides with this indicator of waterproofing.

The repair roof drain with a crimping flange VMR of the Fachmann brand is designed for the installation and repair of flat roofs with an internal drain with bell-shaped or non-bell-shaped pipes made of various materials (steel, cast iron, plastic). They are used in the repair of previously installed funnels that cannot be removed. The product package includes a repair transition, which allows hermetically connecting pipes with a diameter from 90 mm to 115 mm to the nozzle, which have residual contamination. The product can be used with any composition of roofing cake. The service life is at least 50 years.

The Fachmann VMR repair roof drain consists of the following elements art 01.029:

• Housing with a vertical outlet of 450 mm with a diameter of 110 mm. The receiving part has a diameter of 356 mm.
• The clamping flange is made of corrosion-resistant alloy, the clamping area is 45 mm.
• Elastic rubber junction repair (cuff) of a special configuration.
• A leaf catcher to prevent contamination from entering the drain.
• 6 wing nuts for mounting the flange and fixing the waterproofing material.
