Viking Johnson AquaFast Coupling for pipes made of PE and PVC, d 140 mm [Code number: AF140/1]

Application purpose:

• For joining pipes from PE and PVC in various combinations
• For neutral liquids at permissible operating temperature + 50 °С

Characteristics:

• Operating pressure up to 16 bar
• One type of sleeve for PE and PVC pipes
• No additional support for PE pipes required
• No torque wrench required - bolts tighten to stop
• The gap between the ends of the pipes is necessary for: compensating for thermal expansion, preventing the transmission of vibration, compensating for soil precipitation and facilitating installation/disassembly

Installation:

• Before installation, make sure that the outer diameters of the pipes are within the range of adjustment of the coupling
• Pipes are inserted into a freely assembled coupling, while providing a gap between the ends of the pipes of 20 mm (chamfering is not required)
• Bolts of clamping rings are tightened all the way

Materials:

• Central adapter, pressure ring and housing: Ductile iron in accordance with BS EN 1563:1997
• Locking ring: Zinc alloy in accordance with BS EN 12844:1999
• Intermediate ring: Malleable cast iron in accordance with BS EN 1563:1997
• Bolts: stainless steel BS EN ISO3506-1: 2009 Grade A2ORA4
• Nuts: stainless steel BS EN ISO3506-2: 2009 Grade A2ORA4
• Sealing collar: EPDM

Coatings:

• Center adapter, pressure ring, and intermediate ring: Rilsan Nylon 11
• Locking ring: cataphoretic coating
• Bolts, nuts: Sheraplex conforming to WIS 4-52-03
