Application purpose:
- For stoves and fireplaces
- For sealing joints and crevices of surfaces constantly exposed to high temperatures
- For sealing and fixing refractory bricks
Characteristics:
- when heated to +250°C, it becomes superhard;
- high strength;
- well absorbed;
- can be used with natural stone;
- resistant to temperatures up to +1600°С;
- resistant to open flame;
- good adhesion;
- sealant does not emit vapors;
- does not shrink;
- subsequent staining with organic-based paints is possible;
- resistant to cold (capable of withstanding 3 defrost/defrost cycles);
- environmentally friendly;
- durable.
Installation recommendations:
- the surface before application is cleaned of grease, dust, rust with a lint-free cloth. For cleaning, a solvent is used, the remains of which are then removed with a clean, dry cloth;
- porous surfaces are wetted by water;
- the sealant is applied with a sealant gun or a spatula;
- after 24 hours (sealant hardening time), the surface should be heated to +200°C, and then calcined (temperature +200-250°C) for 30 minutes so that the sealant acquires its refractory properties;
- unhardened sealant is removed with water, hardened - mechanically.
