VALTEC threaded backnuts of brass

VALTEC backnuts are used as a simple and effective nut lock against spontaneous unwinding of threaded connection elements, such as couplings, due to vibration or water hammer.

The backnuts are distinguished by a special shape which increases the reliability of fixation, increases the tightness of connection and improves the appearance (the backnut hides fibers of sealant).

Like other VALTEC threaded fittings, backnuts made of hot pressed brass brand CW617N. Their surface is nickel-plated which enhances the protection of products.

Cylindrical thread compatible with tapered thread.
