REHAU RAUPIANO PLUS Fireproofing collars

Fireproofing collars of REHAU RAUPIANO PLUS system increase pipeline fire resistance on 90 minutes. They developed by the REHAU Company, and they can prevent spread of fire by flammable plastic pipes through ceilings and walls.

The fireproofing collars consist of a insert made of flame retardant thermally expandable material and a demountable body.

The fire-retardant material in case of fire expands tenfold. In case of fire PP pipes are soften or even burn. The material begins to expand at high temperature, and it leads to formation of "foam" which fills inner part of of the collar. The collar can withstand of temperatures up to + 1000 °C.

The fireproofing collars are are mounted to wall or ceiling. The collar is fastened with screws or dowels. The collars can be mounted on already installed pipes because they consist of two parts.

You can mount the fireproofing collars of RAUPIANO Plus system to standart walls and massive walls up to 100 mm.
