Fachmann drains for indoor use

Fachmann indoor drains are used to equip shower areas in bathrooms. They drain water into the sewer system and prevent unpleasant odors and bacteria from entering the room from the sewers.

The drains can be equipped with a stainless steel or cast iron grate - the grate is selected based on the expected load. A corresponding subframe is also selected for the grate: cast iron or plastic.

The drain can be equipped with a dry or wet water seal. The wet seal is characterized by rapid water drainage and provides high-quality protection of the room from unpleasant odors, however, if the drain is not used regularly, the water dries in it and the barrier disappears.

Dry seals block unpleasant odors with the help of an air gap. The valve can be a membrane valve (operates due to water pressure), a float valve (operates due to a float), or a pendulum valve (always strives to take a position that will block access to the sewer).
