NORMA COMBI GRIP E and COMBI GRIP INOX axial restraint combining pipe couplings are designed to connect cast iron or steel pipes with plastic pipes. The use of pipe couplings of the COMBI GRIP E for fixing metal and plastic pipes prevents their axial deflection and longitudinal stretching. They are suitable for connecting pipes without threading, welding and flanges.

Advantages of COMBI GRIP INOX/COMBI GRIP E coupling:

  • no need deburring;
  • coupling ready for installation;
  • lock can be rotated and positioned in the most convenient way;
  • no need to ensure the coaxiality of the pipes (saving time and money).

The coupling is equipped with two rings: one ring with a small notch which is pressed into the plastic pipe and necessary to protect the sealing ring. The second ring is an anchoring ring with rows of flat teeth for reliable adhesion to the surface of metal pipe which can withstand even critical loads. Made of high quality stainless steels.

It is acceptable to connect metal and plastic pipes with different diameters and without special processing of the ends.

The coupling is installed with two bolts.

COMBI GRIP E is economical version of the coupling with hollow locking bolts.

It is not recommended to use pipe couplings of the COMBI GRIP E series for the installation of vertical pipelines. GRIP pipe couplings are great for this purpose.
