Pipes sound-absorbing sewage system Wavin Asto

Wavin Asto pipes are made of special material which is named astolan - this material is polypropylene reinforced with minerals, which provides high noise immunity.

Astolan is characterized bydurability and resistance to different environments including aggressive. Also this material has a low weight, so that Wavin Asto pipes and fittings is light. The material is smooth, so that the surface of the pipe is resistant to deposits.

The pipes are used in non-pressure sewage systems, they can have a diameter from 58 to 200 mm. They are able to work for a long time at temperature of effluent up to +90 °C and for a short time at temperature of effluent to +95 °C. The coefficient of linear thermal expansion of the pipe is 0.09 mm/mK. Fire Class is B2. Wavin Asto pipes divided into two types:

• Socketed;
• Non-socketed
