Non-return valves of cast-iron

Non-return valves are important elements of pipelines. They are designed to control the flow of the liquid working medium so that it moves in only one direction.

Principle of operation of the non-return valves is based on use of flat or conical shutter in its design. When working medium moves in forward direction the shutter opens under influence of pressure force, and if flow goes in opposite direction the shutter closes.

Main advantages of using check valves:

• reduction of energy consumption for pipeline operation;
• improving safety of pipeline valves operation – check valves prevent accidents.

In addition, check valves are durable and do not require special maintenance.
