Double branches – special fittings which are used for the installation of two branches from the main sewer riser.

Ostendorf double branches can have branches for the installation of additional pipes at angles of 45°, 67° and 87°. The diameter of additional branches may be equal or smaller to the diameter of the main riser.

Installation of Ostendorf double branches is simple:

  1. The smooth ends of the pipes and the double branch sockets are cleaned of dirt.
  2. Verifies the correct location of the sealing ring.
  3. Technical lubricant is applied to the smooth end of the pipe. Attention! There should be no lubrication on the sealing ring!
  4. The end of the pipe inserted into the double branch is aligned at the center and retracted into the socket as far as it will go.
  5. After that, the pipe should be pushed back 10 mm to avoid possible problems as a result of thermal expansion.
  6. The junction of the pipe and the double branch is fixed with clamps so as to prevent their possible displacement with further installation.
