Electroweld sleeve couplings for plastic pipes

Electroweld sleeve couplings differ from other types of couplings in the way of installation - they are mounted with special electrofusion machine.

Electroweld sleeve couplings are used to connect pipes and fittings of plastics, in particular PP and PE.

The connection formed by the use of electroweld sleeve couplings is non-removable, it is resistant to loads. The connection are compact because the outer diameter of the electroweld sleeve couplings is relatively small.

The electroweld sleeve couplings has melting zone and heating zone. The center of coupling is characterized by the absence of electrical resistance. Due to the special design of electroweld sleeve couplings the edges of the welded pipes do not heat up when the temperature increases, which means that the strength of pipes does not deteriorate during installation.

Also electroweld sleeve couplings can be used as repair couplings - when removing the retaining ring, they slip through the pipe as repair couplings.

The group of products includes tools used for electrofusion welding - ESG electrofusion machines.
