Sound insulation

Sound insulation system PAM-GLOBAL®

Requirements for soundproofing in rooms

DIN 4109 requirements and regulations of the Union of German Engineers VDI 4100.

In the DIN 4109 standards laid down the requirements for noise insulation designed to protect people in buildings from excessive noise loads. DIN 4109 specifies the requirements for maximum noise levels for areas in need of protection in another residential area. To this fall habitable and residential, as well as working and training accommodations. For private residential homes no demands are put forward.

Normally, the VDI 4100 defined three levels of sound insulation. These three quality degrees allow achieving civil and legal agreements for all problems of sound insulation by all participants of the construction and apartment users.

Acoustic testing of PAM GLOBAL pipes

Acoustic tests.

To determine the level of noise in pipe systems PAM-GLOBAL® (noise level of sewage), as well as the full range of plumbing equipment with the elements for wall mounting officially recognized by Fraunhofskim Institute for Building Physics in Stuttgart in recent years there have been led several series of tests.

Conducting sound in municipal sewage systems PAM-GLOBAL® has been studied in several researches in experimental installations and comparing their results. Thus, were performed wall installations of wash basins and water closets under the dry and massive methods of construction, for example, measured sewage noises from stationary wastewater channel. The results confirm that the systems of building drains HES meet all the requirements of DIN 4109.

Acoustic testing of PAM GLOBAL pipes which are closed with plasterboard

Because of its high weight per surface unit and material properties cast-iron pipes PAM-GLOBAL® largely absorb airborne sound waves. In addition, the rubber profile of the original connecting elements PAM-GLOBAL® prevents a direct collision of the surfaces of the pipes: reduces the transmission of structure-borne noise. In combination with wall installation (including elements of the Rapid, covered by gypsum board) sewage systems PAM-GLOBAL® achieve insulation characteristics, which are considerably below the maximum permissible noise levels of 30 dB for the hotel industry, considerably below the maximum permissible noise level of 35 dB.
