To provide on the chemical resistance of products PAM-GLOBAL® S and couplings with EPDM gackets, SAINT-GOBAIN PAM has carried special tests. After stopping the test, the pipes and fittings shall be washed, and the coatings shall be examined with regard to blistering and rusting.
The duration of the test would potentially be equivalent to approximately 7-10 years of real chemical stress. This test method however simulates a more sever stress since the samples lie in direct contact with the solution, the temperature being maintained and the test includes no rinsing over its duration.
