Wavin press fittings

Press connection is used in the Future K1 multilayer pipe system, which is suitable for various applications, for example, for installation of central or underfloor heating system. The system consists of three-layer pipes and press fittings.

The body of the Wavin press fitting is made of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) - this modern material can be compared in strength with metal.

The pipe is held on the fitting due to the presence of press sleeve, which is made of stainless steel. There are special windows at its base that allow to control the depth of the pipe insertion in the Wavin press fitting.

Also press fittings are equipped with sealing ring which is made of a modern elastomeric material with high temperature resistance - thanks to the sealing rings, the joint is fully sealed.

PPSU and stainless steel have similar coefficient of thermal expansion, so the steel press sleeve and plastic body of the fitting work as a single unit, and even significant temperature differences do not affect the quality of the connection.
