Product description:

SPORTFIX Sand trap channel made of modified PP, black, pre-shaped connection possibility DN/OD 110, with metal profile on one side for easy installation of running track, with mesh grating MW 30/30, galvanised, with safely fixed rubber mat, walkable.

General installation guidelines

1. The size of the concrete casing indicated in the drawings:

  • b = 100 mm;
  • d = 100 mm;
  • h = approx. 60 mm

The depth of the trench from the design position of the upper layer of the sports covering to the upper layer of the frost-resistant layer:

  • at the place where the sand trap is installed = sand trap height + 100 mm + 20-30 mm;
  • at the installation site of the soft curb = curb height + 100 mm + 20-30 mm.

2. Install the tracing line in accordance with the level, according to the project.

3. Sand traps and soft curbs are installed in a trench on a concrete base (foundation), the thickness of which should be d = 100 mm. The concrete base (foundation) is made of concrete grade B25 F200, W6, P4. The base (foundation) is equipped with a previously prepared frost-resistant layer. Temporary exposure of the foundation for 4-12 hours.

4. Equip a leveling layer of cement mortar in a ratio of 1: 3 with a thickness of 20-30 mm (cement mortar is prepared at the work site). A curb and a sand trap are installed together in the wet cement slurry in the design position, using a tracing string and a building level. The upper surface of the grit trap should be flush with the upper surface of the soft collapsible attachment of the soft curb.

5. The curb and sand trap are fixed with cement mortar - the caulking height is 30-50 mm. The cross-sectional shape of the caulking is triangular.

6. The concreting of the side parts is carried out with the concrete mixture B25 F200, W6, P4.

The concrete mix is ​​laid without breaks, with a consistent laying direction in one direction. The concrete mix is ​​compacted by bayonetting, followed by leveling and grouting the surface of the laid mix. The width of the side parts of the concrete frame is specified in clause 1.
