Pipe fittings are used to connect pipes to each other. This section contains the following types of connectors:

  • Repair couplings - this type of couplings is different in that they do not have a stop in the middle, which makes it easy to move them along a smooth pipe, for example, to a pipeline section that needs to be repaired.
  • Press fittings - they are used in press pipeline systems and differ in the method of installation: press pipes and fittings are mounted through pressure testing, for which a special tool is used. This method of installation guarantees complete tightness of the connections.
  • Couplings - they can be either socket or socketless, equipped with male or female threads, etc.

Description

Wavin ML protective coupling is suitable for the installation of external outdoor drainage systems, also it can be used to drain stormwater. It is used for protection the pipeline if it is mounted through building structures. Also it can be used as a mortgage when pouring a foundation.

The protective coupling is equipped with a sealing ring made of butadiene styrene - it is created a sealed connection.
