Installing a valve-regulated radiator with the skirting cross fitting RAUTITAN

The assembly instructions apply to:

• RAUTITAN skirting connection sets;
• RAUTITAN skirting end sets.

Connection height of the valve-regulated radiator from the finished floor to the upper edge of the telescopic corner screw joint set:

• With skirting trunking RAUSOLO 155-180 mm;
• With skirting trunking RAUDUO 190-215 mm.

Installing a valve-regulated radiator with the skirting cross fitting RAUTITAN

1. Mount the valve-regulated radiator (observe mounting height).

2. Fasten the skirting trunking bases to the wall.

For the skirting trunking RAUSOLO, do not lay a base at the skirting connection set RAUTITAN (see image below). Length of the cut-out: Approx. 170 mm.

For the skirting trunking RAUDUO, only cut the heating trunking at the skirting connection set RAUTITAN. Do not damage the cover of the electrical chamber. Length of the cut-out: Approx. 170 mm (see image below).

3. Screw on the union nut of the telescopic corner screw joint set by hand.

4. Determine the leg length of the connecting pipes 12 x 1.0 mm of the skirting connection sets.

5. Cut the leg length of the pipes 12 x 1.0 mm of the skirting connection sets.

6. Connect the skirting connection set plus compression sleeve technology with the piping.

Connect the telescopic corner screw joint set to the valve-regulated radiator

1. Tighten the union nut firmly at the connection of the valve-regulated radiator with an open-end wrench WS 30.

2. Remove the caps.

3. Tighten the compression nut firmly from the front with an open-end wrench WS 13, as shown in the image below.

4. Conduct a pressure test.

Notch out the skirting trunking covers

1. At the radiator connection, notch out the cover with the notching pliers in a semicircle for the skirting connection set RAUTITAN.

2. Clip on the skirting trunking covers.
